  • Parking Eye Charge Morrisons Car park Islington

Hi Everyone, I wondered if you could help me.

I took my Fiance to Marks and Spencer Islington on the date shown on the letter, and was told by an employee that we would be able to park in Morrisons car park. I had some work to do that I could do from the car, so I stayed in the car for almost the entire time. Left to use the toilet, get some food, then back to the car.

I remained in the car all day, as the times show.

Having now spoken to M+S, they can't give me any written confirmation that I was able to use that car park. So that's that reason out of the window!

Is there anything I can do about this? It is due to be paid today to get the discount to £60, although is wasn't even issued until almost a month after I parked there!

Also, we didn't receive this paperwork until 20/07/2015, as shown on the top right hand corner of the paperwork also.

      Hi,

Yes, I have now received the earlier paperwork, it's addressed to my employer. Only company name.

To clarify, vehicle is leased, registered keeper is VW Finance, lessee is my employer.

Do not tell them who was driving as keeper liabilty won't wash for a few reasons.

        Dear Sirs,

I, as keeper, wish to invoke your appeals procedure. The driver did not see any signs and was instructed by Marks and Spencer staff to leave the vehicle as it was. I am under no statutory obligation to name the driver and will not do so.

Your notice to keeper fails to comply with PoFA 2012 schedule 4 para 9.

Should you reject my appeal please provide a popla code.

        Yours etc.

If you get a popla code let me know.

Also shame M&S on social media.
