If, as you say, a popla code was issued it will have expired. There is nothing you can do except pay or ignore.

If you read that last letter carefully you will note that it says further action MAY be taken.

As already asked did you pass a sign before you parked your car? If you did not then how can you know of any prohibitions?

Where it this notice board in relation to where you parked?

For future use, just in case they do take it further, take photos of the route in to where your car was parked, and the position of that sign.

Where you parked would appear to be a common road to other facilities on the site. The car park is delineated by the borders and gates therefore how do you know the notice you posted applied outside the car park?
