hi all
this is my first ever post on here so please if you have any advice it would be much appreciated
i recieved a penalty charge notice at asda supercentre in trafford for parking accidentally in a disabled bay when i thought it was a parent and child parking bay my partner urgently needed to go to the bathroom and she was profusely vomiting in the toilets for around 20 minutes and whilst she was in the toilet i went and grabbed a few bits upon my return i got my pcn because i didnt have a blue badge but ive only just noticed it says the wrong registration number on it what should i do ? ignore it or just start the appeal straight away ??
i have wrote a letter and i was about to contact asda head office and discuss about the appeal when i seen reg' number is wrong il post below what i wrote to send off to smart parking so anything you think i need to add or anything please do tell
I am writing in regards to the parking ticket I was issued 4 days ago at Asda Supercentre in Trafford Park. My partner was feeling nauseous and profusely vomiting in the toilets for roughly half & hour, therefore I wasn’t concentrating on the bay I was parking in properly. I genuinely thought it was a parent and child bay as the vehicles next to me were arriving with children also. I have never visited this Asda before and was unfamiliar with the carpark. I would never knowingly park in a disabled bay as I have family with blue badges and know how frustrating it can be when vehicles park there without one.
Under the circumstances I would be very grateful if you could wave the fine on this occasion as a good will gesture. My contact details are 07********* or email **********@gmail.com.
Yours Sincerely
