  • Parking Eye

Hi, my girlfriend has received a parking charge notice issued on 18/3/15 from Private Eye Ltd.
I borrowed her car on 1/3/15 to go to the local gym in Blackburn
Upon entering the gym, you have to register the car registration, which on this occasion I forgot.
I was parked there for 1hr 30mins and the limit is 1hr
The charge is £100 but if I pay within 14 days it will be £60
    What do I do?

First would be to contact the gym and get them to cancel the charge as you were a customer on that day.

        As Ostell says and

        Dear Sirs,

I, as registered keeper, wish to invoke your appeals process. The driver is a member of the gym in any event your charges are penal and not a genuine pre estimate of loss.

I am under no statutory obligation to name the driver and will not be doing so.

Should you reject my appeal please supply a popla code.

        Yours etc
