  • Parking eye charge, please help!

Hi all new here. Received a parking eye charge in the post today. The car park I was on used to be council run pay and display and I still thought it was but apparently not any more. I was only parked on there for 21 minutes as I had a flat tyre and pulled onto there to change and put the spare on! Help!

Appeal, and if required, appeal to popla.

    Dear Sirs,

I, as registered keeper, wish to invoke your appeals procedure. The driver did not see any signs. In any event the charges are penal and not a genuine pre-estimate of loss.

In the event that you refuse my appeal, please send me a PoPLA code. I am under no statutory obligation to name the driver and will not be doing so.

    Yours etc

If you get a popla code return for advice.
