  • Parking Eye Ticket

Hi guys i have recently received a notice from Parking eye saying i was parked in a car park for more then 2 hours. This was in Leicester Morrisons. I was wondering if you guys could tell me if i should pay this fine or if i should ignore this notice. I am new to all this and this is the first time i have been in this situation. Could you guys please help me

I understand M1 is a real superstar at this situation so i hope you can offer me some advice.

Thank you all in advance for your help.

Appeal. If rejected appeal via popla.

    Dear Sirs,

I, as registered keeper, wish to invoke your appeals procedure. The driver, whom i am under no statutory obligation to name, was a genuine customer of the stores (see attached copy of receipts) and was also not parked for the duration claimed as they had to drive around a very busy car park to find a space. In any event your charges are penal and not a genuine pre estimate of loss.

Should you reject my appeal please supply a popla code.

    Yours etc

The parking and receipt part can be altered to fit your circumstances but leave the rest.

Should you get a popla code please come back for more advice.

Please provide some feedback on what i have wrote.

            Dear Sirs,

I, as registered keeper, wish to invoke your appeals procedure. The driver, whom I am under no statutory obligation to name, did not see any signs. The time quoted on your correspondence does not reflect the time spent driving around the car parking looking for parking therefore your timing calculations are not a true reflection of the time the vehicle was parked in the car park.
In any event your charges are penal and not a genuine pre estimate of loss.

Should you reject my appeal please supply a popla code.

            Yours Mr M
