  • Parking Charge - Still subject to 'The Protection of Freedoms Act 2012'

Normally if I break a rule, I pay up ... but being chraged for parking when I am legit shopping (as if shopping was not enough of a punishment).

I have seen quite a few complaints (now I have started to look) about the Retail Park in Epping Forest, car park is out of the way of anything, so the only reason to park there is for shopping !! (except it appears if you shop for more than 3 hours).

Just had a Parking Charge through the post (with 48 hours left to appeal, thanks to the slow post)

I had read on an old thread (https://legalbeagles.info/forums/for...-charge-notice) that the wording on the Parking Charge needed to comply with the requirements Schedule 4 of The Protection of Freedoms Act 2012, but did not know if that applied. My parking charge does seem very similar to that of the original post.

Any advice would be very greatfully appreciated.
