  • Dcbl notice of intended legal action

    Hi guys,

I have received attached letter from DCBL.

I was wondering if anyone could give me some guidance on this.

    thanks

That is not a pre-action court letter, just a 'bailiffy' sounding company saying their client will now consider court action to recover the debt.

Any history to this ticket? Did you dispute it?
"Although scalar fields are Lorentz scalars, they may transform nontrivially under other symmetries, such as flavour or isospin. For example, the pion is invariant under the restricted Lorentz group, but is an isospin triplet (meaning it transforms like a three component vector under the SU(2) isospin symmetry). Furthermore, it picks up a negative phase under parity inversion, so it transforms nontrivially under the full Lorentz group; such particles are called pseudoscalar rather than scalar. Most mesons are pseudoscalar particles." (finally explained to a captivated Celestine by Professor Brian Cox on Wednesday 27th June 2012 )

The original creditor was parking eye. They usually conduct there own cases and only pass on "iffy" cases, those which are not strong, to debt collectors.

Just in case then a SAR to PE to get all the paperwork they hold. Template in the shortcuts pane on this page.

Do not identify or hint at the driver.

This is my experience also - DCBL et al., are very much driven by the client, upto a point, they dont want the 'iffy' cases either, so sometimes pass it back to their client (i.e. the parking company).

Dont engage with DCBL et al., unless they have all your details. In my case I parked in a free carpark but went slightly over time on 4 occasions all in a single month. Unfortuantly for the parking company, they failed to issue the ANPR tickets in time, but still took me to court. I completly engaged with the court process, and in court it was rather refreshing as didn't have to say anything (although I was defending myself), their solicitor / barister (DCBL) tied himself into horrendous knots (and had to appologise to the judge a number of times due many errors, until after 30mins - the judge had just had enough, declaring that "this is completly hopeless - case dismissed" - the parking company had to produce a huge amount of 'bundle' paperwork for the court (approx 40 pages) - where as I just wrote a simple 1 page letter on Keeper Liability and POFA 2012 and the 14 day limit.
