If you have already put them on notice of harassment you either issue a claim or you wait to see if they send you a letter before action. Personally, I would wait for the latter, as Ostell says the letter appears to be non-compliant particularly the period of parking required. I would also argue that the photograph taken (presumably the number plate) does not actually prove that the car was parked on the site unlawfully or in breach of contract.

As you can see below, First Parking have only issued one claim this year (ref. http://www.parkingappeals.info/compa...rking_LLP.html)

I wouldn't worry too much about it, but as long as your making a nuisance of yourself I don't think they would issue a claim with the potential to end up having to pay you.

If you haven't sent that letter that I suggested in post #11 then send it now.

Just write back to them, again stating that there can be no keeper liability as the Notice to Keeper received failed to comply with the requirements of Schedule 4, particularly compliance with section 8 (2). You have already been told this so please make the effort read this section of the Act and you will find that the heading to this section states "The notice must—". Several of these "must be there" statements are missing, incomplete, in the incorrect format and obviously wrong and therefore there can be no keeper liability.

I demand that you now stop contacting me on this matter, continuing to do so when I have no liability amounts to harassment and I may consider taking the appropriate action. Please refer to Ferguson v British Gas. Any further correspondence will be noted but will not be responded to.

They have not initiated many court cases, here's the link to the information. So

Ignore, they are just debt collectors and can do nothing. Read the statement at the top of page 2.

Come back if you get a Letter before Claim, or similarly worded letter.
