    Hi
I am a disabled person, on the 23/06/2017 I was issued a PCN for failure to display my Disabled blue badge. I appealed, uploaded evidence to prove i was entitled. IPC found in their favour. On the 30/09/2017 BWleagle sent me a demand for £160 to be paid in 16 days. I feel strongly that this charge is unacceptable. On the PCN i received in the post there was no mention i could appeal to POPLA I only heard about this organisation recently. Ipaid for a ticket from the machine at 15. 41 by 15.50 there was a notice on my windscreen i then placed my blue badge on the dash. I read the terms and conditions it said after fifteen minutes a PCN WOULD BE ISSUED . I read about a similar case in 2013 Excel took a disabled man to court and the Judge ruled that since the motorist was registered disabled, the parking company should have made reasonable adjustment and found in his favour. Should i lodge a dispute with BWleagle ?

    Hi & welcome to LB.

Does that BWL letter mention anything about letter before claim/action (or similar), or is there threat of a court claim in it? (Will, as opposed to may/might?)

So they will need to adhere to the new debt pre-action protocol.
        https://www.justice.gov.uk/courts/pr...ebt-claims.pdf
That allows the alleged debtor a min 30 days to reply from receipt of a letter before claim .
