I've received a Penalty Charge Notice for parking on a driveway, as my car was overhanging the footway. I had permission from house's owner, builders assured me that they park there all the time without receiving a fine, and during the course of 8 hours parked there - no less than six different wardens walked past it and ignored it. It wasn't until 4pm that a warden put a ticket on my car. I wondered if I had reasonable grounds for an appeal? Any help would be much appreciated thanks!

Re: Dropped curb parking
Hi and welcome
As the yellow lines apply to the highway, which includes the footway, you appear not to have grounds for appeal.
You need to check that the PCN has been issued correctly and also the TRO, if you want to find grounds for appeal.
You could try for "mitigating circumstances" but that may only end up with enforcement officers being told to tighten up, and so upsetiing the builders!
The house owner cannot give you permission to park on yellow lines!
