Re: New to site, advice needed
Mystery1 will provide more info but in the first instance post up the PCN you received with your personal details removed. What was the time between the alleged incident and the date the PCN was received?
The BPA state that operators must provide a grace period of at least 10 minutes to leave after parking. Similarly there must be a period on entering for the driver to read and accept the conditions for parking. I would presume that the 12 minutes quoted were referring to the entry and exit times seen by the cameras and not the actual period of parking so any overstay was considerably less than 12 minutes. Was this a free or paid for parking?
Do not, at any time, say or infer who was actually driving at the tiem.

Re: New to site, advice needed
Thank you so much for looking at my post. I received the letter through the post this morning. What actually happened is that prior to this visit, the car park had been free. It was quite a surprise to suddenly find that it was a pay and display. We had to wait to get a space as it was busy at this time as food outlets were full of lunchtime visitors. I got a parent and child space and went to get a ticket. The only options were 1 hour or 3 hours so I paid for 3 hours. I returned to the carpark well within the 3 hours but I had a lot of trouble on returning to my car. I was with my blue badge holding disabled mother and a three month old baby in a pushchair. I struggled to get the pram in my car and then proceeded to leave. The carpark was no longer full but there is a one way system out that feeds directly onto a set of traffic lights. After waiting at the lights I proceeded to leave the carpark. I have not yet been in contact with parking eye as I thought I would consult with an impartial party first. Thank you so much for any advice.
