  • Met parking service

Hi everyone. I'm a new here looking for advice.

I have been served with a parking fine of £50 from MET Parking Service. If I don't pay within a certain amount of time it goes up to £100

I was at Mcdonalds outside Gatwick, I decided to grab food for my nephew and niece. I failed to see the signs that say you only have a 60 minutes parking limit. Granted it was there for a while, 88 minutes to be precise according to the letter, so I was late getting back to my car and leaving. I have proof that I was in there eating, i have paid by bank card at Mcdonalds
They send me a picture of my car arriving and leaving. I think £100 is really harsh for being 27 minutes over is there anything I can do or do I just have to suck it up and pay?
    thanks in advance.

Not guaranteed to win but a good chance at popla. Up to you if you want to but the £50 offer will disappear. Met don't do court, as yet.
