CCJ on credit file with no correspondence from Parking Eye!
Hello,
I am completely at a loss as to a CCJ that has been placed on my File from Parking Eye which I only discovered today and was submitted in August. I randomly discovered it whilst checking my Equifax File. I have had to call the CCBC who have informed me that as I had not responded to any of Parking Eyes letters, it automatically went to CCJ! First of all I have had no correspondence whatsoever, (which probably everyone says but in my case it's the TRUTH), (how do I prove this?) secondly I haven't visited Leisure World in Southampton for about 2 years, so I definitely wasn't driving! My daughter has only been there twice this year, once to Frankies and Benny's with her friends and the other at the Odeon. She says she has never received a ticket! I then find out that they have to have you on camera (of which I have received no documentation for), however they must have something? I am absolutely livid, as I need to remortgage next year for adaptations to my house for my disabled daughter, which with a CCJ on my file is going to be highly unlikely! I now have to pay £255 to the CCBC for hearing at Southampton. I have asked why important letters aren't sent by registered post? and how can PE just put a CCJ on my file without any correspondence? I can't apply for financial assistance as I am a full time nurse so don't tick the benefits boxes.
