  • Final notice from BW Legal

Hi, could someone please advice me on how to respond to this?

I have recieved a final notice from BW legal acting for Excel parking.

It dates back to 6th June 2014 when my car parked by someone on the moor street car park in Brierley Hill to visit iceland. I payed my 50p fee but the machine kept my money and did not issue a ticket. So i left a note in my windscreen and explained this. I was in and out within 10 minutes.

A few weeks later i recieved the first of many letters from Excel demanding various amounts which i have ignored, then collection agencies which i also have ignored.

I have now recieved this final notice from bw legal demanding i psy £154.00 within 10 days of the letter or they will commence with county court proceedings.

I dont want to ignore this one but im not sure how to respond, any advice or draft of a response letter would be greatly appreciated.

    Many thanks,

    Redchoo.

Have you spoken to the Iceland manager or pestered them on social media ?

Generally i would only advise responding directly to a letter before action or court claim.

Did you know that your customers are being treated like shit ? Look what i'm being hassled with. I spend millionsss in here. are you going to do anything about it ?

If they don't help go to twitter facebook and post a sanitised version of the letter with something like " why mums shouldn't go to Iceland"

So in the meantime do i ignore this and wait for a letter before action/claim? Because in other posts ive seen that you have said to respond to this with a sample letter.

I only advise responding to a letter before claim.

The differences between what you appear to have and the letter before claim are easily seen http://legalbeagles.info/forums/show...139#post664139

So yes i'd advise to ignore a final notice.
