  • DRP debt recovery - ukps

I received a ticket from upcs for parking on private property, i sent a appeal letter but did not get a response, i then received a debt recovery letter from DRP for £160. Should i pay them or just ignore the letters. I still have proof that i sent them a letter recorded delivery .

DRP are debt collectors and can do nothing so ignore. Was the appeal letter you sent actually signed for? Has the driver been identified?

DRP (and any other scumbag letterhead for hire) = ignore. Contact the parking company and ask where your appeal result is.

Should i contact the oriogonal company who sent the fine or just keep ignoring them both and hope it goes away. . .? As if they do take me to court i can prove i sent a reply recorded delivery but they cant prove they replied back i guess.

Contact the original company, that's what i'd do.

So if you get on line you can check if your recorded delivery letter was actually signed for. Do that now, you can then write to them again mentioning that they signed for your letter. Do not ignore the original letter.

In my appeal I didn't mention my name or who driver was so have not admited who driver was . If I just ignore there letters will I be ok?

You could but it takes 6 years to become statute barred and court action is a possibility.

As i have already stated, contact UKPS and ask why you are getting hassled when you have appealed.
