  • Parking ticket - confused

    Hi,
I received a parking ticket stating I didn't 'fully display a valid pay-and-display ticket' when I was parked on a car park. I'm really confused as to how this has happened as I did have the ticket displayed and remember removing it when I got back into the car. I have kept the ticket and the time shows that I bought it almost 30 mins before they issued the charge. I have been advised not to appeal it with them but to try another route although I'm confused. Can anyone advise?

Thank you for the quick reply! I followed the steps and I was able to see the photographic evidence and the parking ticket had flipped over on the dashboard therefore it didn't display the information. Is there a way to appeal this as I did buy the ticket and still have it. The Parking Charge Notice is not from the council.

Use the appeals you see in my link but use the reason "the driver purchased a valid ticket and placed it as required (see attached)"

Obviously you keep the ticket safe
