    Re: Is this illegal?

I have written to the car park management asking for a copy of the contract, but have heard nothing, not even an acknowledgement

I wouldn't expect the parking company to give you a copy but demand a copy from the "chairman" so that it can be debated at the next meeting, the one where you all select someone else as chairman.

          Re: Is this illegal?

          Hi again,
In my last post I was about to attend the residents assoc. AGM. As usual, only a handful of people were there and the 'Chairman' .insisted that everyone but myself had agreed to the parking enforcement, even though four of us told him that we hadn't. When I asked him why 11 of us had signed a petition ro get rid of it, he claimed to know nothing about it. I asked for a copy of the application to CPM, but naturally have not received it. I must have over 30 tickets issued to me by him now and am worried that I might be taken to court. I just don't seem to be getting anywhere. Also, I found a cracked windscreen last week. He knew all about it and said that a branch had fallen off my 'dangerous' tree. No sign of any branch. He's so pathetic that I'm afraid of what he'll do next.

Have you spoke to your local council about this issue? They may be able to help you.
