  • Smart Parking charge

I Visited Asda Store in Nuneaton on Friday 27th November at approximately 5.13pm making two separate purchases (shown below as taken from my bank statement). I have now received a parking fine from Smart Parking, having spent £43.50 I feel very aggrieved that I am now being asked to pay £40.00 for over parking. It's ridiculous, when shops are bemoaning the lack of shoppers, do they not understand that giving companies like this control of the car parking is not going to gain them customers when all they do is put number plate recognition cameras(NOR). It's not a bloody garage forecourt where people fill up with fuel and then bugger off without paying. I spent £43.50 in the store. Should I pay the fine?

    Re: Smart Parking charge

Contact the store and ask the management to cancel it.

    Appeal too.

    Dear Sirs,

I, as registered keeper, wish to invoke your appeals process. The driver did not see the signs and was a genuine customer. I note your notice to keeper is fundamentally flawed when compared to PoFA 2012 schedule 4 para 9 in several aspects .

Should you reject my appeal please supply a popla code.

    Yours etc

If popla is need let me know.
