Hi,
About a three weeks ago I was taking my wife to a dentists. On my arrival I tried to turn into the private parking inside the yard only to notice that a vehicle was reversing from the yard into the main road.
I have then stopped near the pavement, was not alongside it but with an angle, allowed the vehicle to reverse into the main road, and once it was done, I drove into the yard.
I do remember that whilst the vehicle was reversing a parking attendant was walking down the street towards me however allowed the car to reverse into the street before making his way towards us.
Surprise surprise - a week later a parking charge notice from London Borough of Redbridge finds it's way to my letter hole. It does say that civil enforcement officer observed the vehicle identified from 14:40 to 14:41 and had begun to prepare PCN for service by fixing to the vehicle or by giving it to the person appearing to them be in charge of the vehicle, but the vehicle concerned was driven away from the place in which it was stationary......
You could not come up with better stories to be honest. It seems anything will be done just to punish any driver...
I was wondering should I just reply with a normal response saying that as PCN was not fixed and therefore is invalid or should I give them more details of the whole incident?
