Yesterday I received a parking ticket 'parked without authorisation' from MET parking services whilst visiting my friend in a residential estate. The parking sign next to where I was parked stated that visitors of residents must display the address of the resident they are visiting and a telephone number....Although I wrote on a piece of paper 'visiting flat 158 'and a mobile phone number, I did not write the full address....Please advise whether I should contest this notice. If I do contest it, what is the best approach? thanks
