Appeal.
Dear sirs,
I, as registered keeper, wish to invoke your appeals procedure. The driver did not see any signs. In any event your charges are penal and not a genuine pre estimate of loss.
I am under no statutory obligation to name the driver and will not do so.
Should you reject my appeal please supply a popla code.
Yours etc
If you get a popla code come back for further advice.

Re: Parking eye parking fine
I once received a ticket from parking eye when I visited toysrus. I overstayed the allowed 3 hrs because I had not seen the sign although it was right at the entrance. Because I did not have money I searched through the Internet and stumbled upon a letter by a barrister responding to someone who had a similar matter. The advice was something like ignore them, don't even contact them. Even if they write threatening to take you to court or debt collectors ignore them and by six months it will be over. When the worst comes to the worst and they take you to court, they have to justify charging you 60 pounds for the extra hours or so that you would have overstayed with otherwise the court will ask you to pay 2pounds per for every hour you stayed over because it wld have been free before you exceeded your stay and parking eye knows it. So they will try other tricks to make you pay and avoid the court route. At first i was timid but because we had a new baby and had no money I took a gamble and I got away with it, it's been 3 Yrs now since they stopped contacting me and I thank God for that.
