Smart Parking Charge

Hi guys just received a letter informing me of Charge of £90 or £45 if paid within 14 days . They say we were parked in B&M Retail Greenock from 11.52 til 14.06 on 22/01/15 . As my husband has Disabbled Badge and always display it we were under impression we can park there for 3 hrs therefore are not liable to pay this charge . Can you please advise . Thank you .

In Scotland they can only chase the driver as there is no keeper liability. It is unlikely they'd ever know who it was unless you told them. The only way to know you've won however is to wait 5 years for the statute of limitations to make any "debt" prescribed and thus no longer collectable.
