  • Gemini PCN for no permit on Private Road

Can anyone help me with how to appeal this Gemini parking fine which was issued on 11/12/14.

I was visiting my family on the Cator Estate in Blackheath but forgot to put the visitors permit in the car. Very rarely do you ever see any Gemini vans patrolling the estate especially at the end of the road where my family live where it is obvious that people parked there are visiting residents. Gemini seemed to be intentionally regularly driving around before Christmas to tot up their end of year targets. I explained to the Gemini man that I had a permit but had forgotten to display it but he was having none of it.

I received an overdue payment letter from Gemini dated 21/1/15. I am going to write the letter to appeal but should I mention that I did actually have a visitors permit and had permission to park there or not bother?

Also if they reject the appeal what do I say in the letter to POPLA regarding a PCN issued on a private estate?
