Recently received PCN from Parking Eye for parking at my local Aldi Store (free car park 1 hour limit) parked for 1 hour 21mins. Thanks to looking at this site and others I appealed the decision with Parking Eye using the template appeal letter given on this site. Got the reply from Parking Eye - RESULT.... Parking Eye cancelled the charge completely..... :tinysmile_grin_t::tinysmile_grin_t::tinysmile_gri n_t:.....

    Many thanks LegalBEAGLES

            Hi Brianr471,
Can you please kindly confirm which letter template you used.
I received a Parking Eye fine yesterday at a retail park, I was there just 11 minutes over the 2 hour permitted period and have been slapped with a £100 fine ! (kindly reduced to £60 if i pay immediately)
thanks in advance for your help

Don't know what he used but i suggest :-

              Dear sirs,

I, as registered keeper, wish to invoke your appeals procedure. The driver did not "park" for 2 hours 11 minutes which your ANPR system based at entry and exit suggests. In any event your charges are penal and not a genuine pre estimate of loss as you admitted in Parking Eye v Beavis.

I am under no statutory obligation to name the driver and will not do so.

Should you reject my challenge please supply a popla code.

              Yours etc

Should you get a popla code edit http://www.legalbeagles.info/forums/...-Appeal-Letter or http://www.legalbeagles.info/forums/...-Appeal-Letter to suit.

              M1
