  • parking charge notice

Hi, i have received a P C N for £70 for parking at Bridgnorth car park at severn park. I got there at 09.20 but didnt get the ticket till 10.15 as I had gone to the river side to meet up with the canoe company to find out all our details. When I purchased my ticket, that I still have, I paid the maximum daily amount so it would not have made any difference what time it was. Is there any way these people can use common sense to waver this as I will not return again as I have over the past 6 years,

    This car park i assume http://www.shropshirestar.com/news/2...arking-fiasco/ ?

In which case a simple appeal should suffice.

    Dear Sirs,

I, as registered keeper, wish to invoke your appeals procedure. The driver paid for an all day ticket (copy attached). In any event your charges are penal and not a genuine pre estimate of loss.

I am under no statutory obligation to name the driver and will not do so.

If you do not accpet my appeal please send a popla code.

    yours etc

For a popla appeal, edit http://www.legalbeagles.info/forums/...-Appeal-Letter to suit.
