  • Success with CEL appeal!!!

A huge thank you for all the helpful advice and info on LBs. This morning I received a letter to say my appeal had been allowed on failure to prove genuine pre-estimate of loss.

I am attaching the redacted appeal and determination, should it help anyone else.

As this was on behalf of an elderly relative, I am of course delighted at the outcome.

Good luck all, and thank you once again to all the individuals who share their information here.

Hi. I am new to this site but your case seems very similar to mine. One sister has sold the other her car and it is twin 2 who parked in what is a free car park for 90 minutes outside of Currys/PC World at a time when the store is closed. On that basis there is no loss to the retailer. My only problem is having read advice to ignore the original PCN I have exceeded the 28 day appeal period but think I may fib and say it was not received and respond to their 2nd demand which has now arrived...if they can use soddy tactics!!!!
