  • parking eye PCN

once again the dreaded parking eye, sorry !! my wife received a PCN from this company in relation to a parking issue at the Park Inn hotel Cardiff on the 30/08/2013. Although she owned the vehicle (recently sold) at the time, she was not the driver on the day in question. after searching various sites we decided to ignore the charge, she has now informed me that she has received two further letters informing her they are now taking her to the county court to claim the monies they say are owed. After the initial PCN the second letter stated they had satisfied schedule 4 of the protection of freedom act required for keeper liability, the next letter stated unless she paid within 14 days, from 28/10/13, they were taking the matter to court.

my question is :- is there anything we can do to stop this charge ?

Redact all the docs (name etc) and post them up.

If the driver is/was a customer of the site they should contact them with proof of purchase and complain.

It is important to know if court has been threatened or a claim issued as the difference is significant.
