  • PCN from Council

    Greetings,

Would appreciate rubbing this by you experts please.

06/11/2025 booked to stay at the Travelodge at Heston Services M4 Westbound. Arrived there after 2200hrs as had just dropped off the wife at T5.

The slip road off the M4 was closed due to road resurfacing and was directed by by signs to the back of the services.
I eventually found the entrance that the front desk clerk had directed me to. It was a narrow road that other drivers were also taking. There were workers there that asked for hazard lights to be on and we were escorted to the services and Travelodge.

I then received a PCN in the post with photos of my car plus others cars in a line.

I received the PCN. I had requested them to reconsider and then received a letter rebuking my request and now the option is to take it to a tribunal. This is why I'm trying to get some backup from Moto Services and also Travelodge.

The lady letter from the Council stated they had no information about any road works on the night of the infringement.

A quick Google search I found this on Facebook :
    M4 Traffic LIVE

UPDATE: #M4 westbound at the Heston services slip road between J2 and J3 | Westbound | Road Works: Location : The M4 westbound exit slip at Heston Services.
    Reason : Roadworks are planned.
    Status : Pending.
    Schedule : From 22:00 on 6 November 2025 to 05:00 on 7 November 2025.
Lanes Closed : All lanes will be closed. #M4 #traffic

Any thoughts before I take it to tribunal please?

    Kind regards,
    Andrew
