  • PCN Served after 11 Months?

I am just looking for advice and found this site.

Back in 18 Feb 2025 apparently overstayed my welcome a little bit and didn't register my vehicle in the E-permit system before the 30 minutes of grace were up. However I was unaware of this and have never received a letter about it until now 11 months later that states we have to pay £160 meaning I was unable to appeal or even pay a lower fine immediately. This seems unusual and a little intentional. What do I do now? I have been advised I should appeal but how do I really go about that, is it worth it and would I even win?

So we can asses the position more accurately could you please post up a copy of the letter you have received.
First blank out your name and address, vehicle registration number, and any reference numbers.
