Europark PCN

Received a PCN from Europark. Used the pub car park for it's intended purpose, have receipt of purchase. Did not overstay. We use this restaurant regularly. The reason given was didn't input reg details in terminal inside the restaurant. I'm sure I did and sometimes these have been down or not working correctly. I've had one from Europark before which was appeal upheld and cancelled.

We received a letter way after the date of penalty so couldn't appeal within the 28 days. It's now gone to Debt recovery plus and gone up to £145.

Phoned DR+ and they won't rescind and said they will recommend to Europark for court.

Any idea how to proceed? Should I write to Wetherspoons? If I have to prepare for court what evidence should I get together? Any other ideas? TY

The other thing is I have written to Europark 3 or 4 times. They don't want to know. I'm just amazed how you can use a car park for intended purpose, not overstay and get a whacking great invoice. Lol.

Go straight back to Wetherspoons, Speak to manager and request he has the charge cancelled.
If he says he can't complain to head office, and mention social media postings likely.

DR+ are toothless debt collectors who only get paid if they obtain payment from the victim, so ignore them completely.
