I have received a PCN for “failing to make a payment that covered the entire duration of your stay. “ I don’t dispute I overstayed however a change in the weather made our walk longer than expected. When I returned to the car park I had no option to pay the extra charge incurred and therefore could not comply. Do I have grounds to appeal the extra charge would have been £2.50 which would have been the minimum amount I could have paid over and above the original charge of £5.00 for 2 hours parking my overstay was 48 minutes. Anybody help with appealing please?
