    Beware of fake parking tickets on your car

    Fake yellow parking tickets have been appearing on cars around the country so check any yellow parking tickets [PCNs] carefully. The fraudsters are putting both fake Council parking tickets ["Penalty Charge Notice"] and fake private parking company ones ["Parking Charge Notice"] on cars.

    The scam tries to get you to use a fake QR Code or website address to pay the PCN and the fraudsters then steal your card details and personal ID information.

    Never click on a QR code. Never use the website address on the PCN without checking it independently.

    Found a yellow ticket on your car? Beware, it could be a new cruel parking scam...
