  • PCN from Britannia Parking Group LTD

Hello parked in a pub car park in Chingford on the 23/03/2025 i did actually enter the pub for a little while and purchased drinks but didn't see or was made aware i had to register my car reg.
I did ignore a lot of letters hoping they would forget but they seem a little more persistent and it has been escalated to the collection company and a solicitors which both have the same name dcbl.
Could you give me any advice on how i should proceed further. Thanks

Could you please post up the original PCN (first redacting identifying details but leave in all dates and times) and photos of car park signs.
Have you contacted them at all?
Have you requested the pub arrange for the charge to be cancelled?

The debt collectors (Direct Collection Bailiffs ltd DCBL) are a different (even if a sister company) to DCB Legal (solicitors)

Assume you have received (or are about to receive) a letter of Claim from the solicitors. If so, please post up a copy of said letter.
If it has reached this stage they are unlikely to settle for anything other than full payment.

If we can view those documents we can advise further

So you need to respond to the Letter of Claim.

The letter from DCB Legal refers to a schedule attached to the bottom of the letter.
            Was such a schedule attached?

Just write to them, and without identifying the driver, ask them to send you a copy of the Parking Charge Notice (and the schedule referred to above if not attached to the letter).
Send first class with free certificate of posting from post office. Keep certificate safe.
