  • Dcb Legal Letter of claim

    Hi,

My father has received a Letter of claim from Dcb Legal. He has regularly parked in the Manchester Mediacity car park for years and used to pay using the machines there but they changed to barrier less and he didn’t realise. He’s old age and just thought they had removed the parking machine. He’s been paying since Parking Maven have sent him the initial charges but has ignored the actual charges.

It seems they have forwarded this to DCB legal and they have sent this letter. I know he shouldn’t have ignored, what can we do now?

This what they are saying below:

This is my first time posting on here, please help.

Does your father still have the original PCNs?
Has the driver been identified to the Parking company?
Can you obtain photos of the car park signs (even the small print should be legible)?
Was the change over in payment system prominently highlighted ?

Presumably payment originally was necessary on exiting to raise the barrier, but has now been changed to card or app payment, with entry and exit times being recorded by ANPR cameras.

It would be helpful if you could post up the items mentioned above.(first remove identifying details but leave in all dates and times)
You will probably ned to use a hosting site and post a link here.
