  • Parking charge notice - CPP

Hi everyone, I need some advice please. I took a disabled person to the hospital and displayed the blue badge but later i received the notice.. The issue was that we needed to register the car in the hospital, which i didnt know. I later the relevant department to get the car registered but they said to appeal against the parking charge and submit both sides of the blue badge. It's currently been 12 days so need to do it within the next day or so

Should i appeal without giving the drivers name and attach both copies of the blue badge?

    Thanks

Certainly do not disclose the identity of the driver.

You can appeal, but do not expect CPP to accept it as a valid reason to cancel the charge.

Assuming you are in England you could complain to the PALS unit at the hospital (especially if the signs were unclear) and request they have the charge cancelled

      Hi,

Just had a letter from them today and they said they have cancelled the charge "as a goodwill gesture"

Well done, and hats off to CPP acting reasonably.
Now keep that letter safe for the next 6 years just in case.

        Thanks for the update
