  • Disabled Parking Ticket

Hey. So in short I parked in a disabled space. I wasn’t sure if I had to pay for this or not so I went to see. I went to the opposite side of the car park to read a board to see. In that time there was a warden ticketing. Initially I didn’t think it was mine as I didn’t realise I hadn’t put my pass up. So I shouted him to see if he could help and he slapped a ticket on the car and walked off. Got back to the car and realised I didn’t put the disabled pass on. On the ticket though, he observed and ticketed in the same minute.

Wrote to the council they said no, I should have put the pass in the window. But when I went to the online bit I realised the pics and the writing were taken in a minute AND a pic by a different sign. I want to appeal this because whilst technically i should of put it in the window had the warden either listen to my shouting to him or waiting 3 mins I would of been able to show the pass.

can I contest it? I feel disabled rights should allow some waiting time and also how he could observe, take 4 pics around the car and the board and print in the same miniute is a bit too quick
