Hi,
I received a PCN from secure parking solutions in Birmingham from a private car park. The big sign on the entrance stated 24 hours parking £2.50. So I parked up and paid the £2.50 change I had, displayed the ticket and when I returned after 2 hours found a yellow ticket on the windscreen ‘minimum van charge not met’ which was £5 and displayed on the small sign by the parking meter. Silly me didn’t read it and assumed £2.50 would cover it.
I haven’t engaged with them at all, but today have received the notice to keeper letter, 42 days after the alleged offence.
Has anybody got any history with this company, do they peruse with court action or are they safe to ignore? Is there any dispute I can make?
Any advice greatly appreciated.
Thanks
