  • Could someone look at this PCN & Final Notice for errors & lines of defence, please

    Dear Forum members

Could someone take a look at this PCN & Final Notice for errors, please. DCBLegal threaten court action and I'm looking for potential lines of defence.

    Thank you

Any possibility of you posting up a photo of the various parking signs as at the date of the alleged infringement ?

Is the "threatening" letter from DCBL or DCBLegal?
The former is a debt collector with no power and can be ignored, altho' they will pass it along the desk to the latter who will eventually initiate a court claim.

Your choices at the moment are pay up or await the court claim.
At this stage they are unlikely to negotiate a reduced payment, but a robust defence of a court claim often leads them to accept a nominal payment or discontinue the claim completely.
If it reaches an actual hearing the result can go either way as it is a bit of a lottery!
