  • Parking off-road but got £70 fine

The blue car in the photo has been given a £70 penalty charge notice
    Contravention Code 01
Parked in a restricted street during prescribed hours

Is this right if I wasn't even parked on the highway?

it says im not authorised to create or remove attachments?

The picture I was trying to upload shows double yellow lines on a country road, however the car was parked on mud/grass verge not even touching the road nor blocking any type of access

The highway generally stretches from hedge to hedge, so verges and footways are covered by yellow lines.

However there may be other reasons for the charge not to be enforceable.
Suggest you post on Free Traffic Legal Advice (https://www.ftla.uk/index.php) where posters have in depth knowledge about penalty charges

Local to me people were parking on an area which was on the footpath side of the yellow lines (not the road) but not impeding the footpath. They were ticketed.
