  • CUP Enforcement Parking Charge Notice-Advice Needed!

    Hi everyone,

I am I’m looking for some advice regarding a parking charge notice my wife has received from CUP Enforcement.

She briefly stopped for about 10–20 minutes in front of an accountant’s office while waiting for me. She remained in the car with the engine running the entire time and left as soon as I came out. She didn’t notice any signs at the time, but we’ve now received a parking charge notice stating that it’s private parking for registered vehicles only. I will attach a picture of the sign for reference.

Since she never actually parked or left the vehicle, I wanted to check if we are still liable to pay this charge. They claim the area is private and restricted to registered vehicles, but she was only waiting momentarily. Do we have grounds to appeal?

Would appreciate any advice or similar experiences. Thanks in advance!

Could you please post up a copy (redacted) of the PCN.
Leave in all times and dates.

Pictures of the signs would also be useful
