  • CP plus parking charge

    Hi

Driver received parking charge from CP plus for overstaying in retail park

Any grounds for appeal will be appreciated.

If no grounds to appeal are CP plus likely to take matter to court if ignored.

    Thanks

    You could try this:

I have just received your Notice to Keeper xxxxx for vehicle VRM xxxx

You have failed to comply with the requirements of Schedule 4 of The Protection Of Freedoms Act 2012 namely, but not limited to failing to
invite the keeper to pay the unpaid parking charges or notify you of the name and address of the driver in the wording as prescribed by section 9 (1) (2) (e) of the Act.

You cannot, therefore, transfer liability for the alleged charge from the driver at the time to me, the keeper.

There is no legal requirement to name the driver at the time and I will not be doing so.
i do not expect to hear from you, or any debt collectors you care to instruct, further except to confirm you have deleted my details from your systems.

    Yours etc

They won't accept it, but it is the start.

Can you obtain photos of the car park signs?

    Don't identify the driver
