  • Smart parking, notice 5weeks after contravention

    Hi,
I have received a parking notice by the company smart parking.
the date of the contravention is 20/08/2023
and the issue date is 25/09/2023.
The notice shows my car entering the parking site at 18:38
and leaving the parking site at 20:51.

    I did purchase a ticket for 18:44 til 20:44 so 2hours.

    Can i appeal ?
I read somewhere else that PCN should be issued within 14days is this correct ?
Also, my parking ticket only expired 7mins before me actually leaving the site would there be a grace period.

    Thanks.

Is the vehicle registered in your name?

If it is, then you have a valid defence.
Post p a redacted copy of the notice you have received (remove identifying details but leave in dates and time)

Do not identify the driver, and edit your post so the identity of the driver cannot be inferred.
You'll probably have to ask admin to do the editing.. contact details at bottom of page
