I entered a bus lane after 4pm and I know I shouldn’t have as I saw the signs saying 10am to 4pm but there where parking bays in the bus lane and as I needed to park I thought it would be ok as other cars where in the bays, as I entered the bay I clocked the parking sign and it was the Same as the bus lane restrictions..10am to 4pm only so I quickly pulled out of the bus lane and that took a total of 6 seconds from entering the bus lane to exiting and I didn’t block any buses or cause a hold up ect (all on video from my pcn) I have contested it. I was just wondering what you think about this? Do I have a case ? The parking signs telling the hours are not forward facing they go across to the other side of the road so there was no way of knowing the hours until I parked and looked up at them. Hope someone can advise me. Thanks paul.
