when was the claim issued?
you stated the court gave you an extension for filing your claim to Jan 31. why was an extension requested?

If you have not had a response to your cpr 31.14 you should phone the claimant, speak to the claim handler and push for a response and a 28 day extension as is allowed by the CPRs. Point out they are in breach.
If they argue that the CPR31.14 does not apply to small claims, remind them the claim has not yet been allocated to any track.

Hi Des, so I’ve had a reply from DCBL with this letter along with the original PCN. I know for a fact the vehicle wasn’t parked on the site for over 6 hours. The drive through is the only thing used.

So post up suitably redacted a copy of the PCN and any other letters you have.

Any chance the car visited that site twice?
Can you prove the vehicle was elsewhere during the alleged parking period ?

Its very likely the car visited twice.

Our ring doorbell doesn’t store that far back unfortunately.

Does the user of the vehicle have receipts/bank or credit card records, or possibly garage or shop receipts during that period of parking that indicate the vehicle would have been elsewhere?

Double dipping where systems only record the first entry and last exit of a vehicles to a car park are not unusual, so if you can show there is no way one would spend 6 hours in a McDonalds you can fight this PCN (I wouldn't even set foot in a McDonalds, but that only shows my age!)

Can I put in why it’s taken them over a year to issue the PCN?
