I have got a PCN from smart parking.
I paid for 2 hours parking on Ringgo ( have receipt, which shows correct reg/payment)
11:09:23, left at 13:24.40, I paid for parking from 11.13, to 13.13. I was late leaving the car park due to road works (temporary traffic late, allowing single lane traffic right at exit) which delayed me by roughly 5 minutes., and also generally getting out of the car park driving, however the ANPR camera said I left at 13:24.40, which is unfair considering the road works and ontop of that, I should get a grace period of at least 10 minutes? or is it more. I contacted the landlord of the car park (which is a pub) and they've said they can't do anything, but to let them know, perhaps I should get them to email support?
Am I in the right here? or what should I do? I have lodged an appeal and sent proof of my receipt. I did not send proof of roadworks, but I have since got that incase of the next stage.
