  • PCN. Contravention 46 on Red Route

Hi everyone. I've just joined so apologies if I'm not following procedures correctly.

The driver has received a PCN for contravention 46. Parking on a red route. The driver actually parked in the entrance to a company. Not on the main road or a verge or a pathway / pavement.

The photo isn't that clear but you can just make out the curve of the curbe into the entranceway. I've tried to post an image but I couldn't. I'll try again. The red route double red lines are not in the entrance at all.

Can this be challenged as not a contravention?

    Thanks in advance.

You've got nothing to lose by appealing - They pause the 14/21 day discount window while your appeal is assessed so its not like you are choosing between either the discount, or risking an appeal and paying the increased fine.

That picture is shocking quality though, perhaps posting a link to the location on Google Maps so we can check it on streetview?
