How long to wait for reply to an appeal

Hi,

I have received a parking charge from Smart parking and I have appealed it. They have acknowledged my appeal with an email stating that they endeavour to reply withing 35 days. However the delay has now been exceeded and they haven't reply to me. Do you know how long the legal delay is? Should I contact them or BPA?

I would be most grateful if someone could reply to me. The situation has slightly changed, I have contacted BPA but they don't want to investigate. What do you think my next steps should be? Should I contact the operator to tell them that they failed to reply to my appeal?

I would leave it and hope they have lost it.

Appeals to parking companies are rarely accepted.
