  • UKPC Penalty Charge Notice

My wife has just received a PCN from ‘UKPC’ for a KFC car park. Can these just be ignored as they are from a private company? TIA

No they can't be ignored, that way lies a visit to court.

Post up a redacted copy of the PCN, front and back but leave dates. Use a hosting site such as imgur for uploading and put links on here

Has the driver been back to KFC to complain? There are sometimes additional conditions whereby the driver can extend the time limit for a visit. Find out if that facility exists.

Do not name or infer the identity of the driver.

I can't see any failure to comply with POFA, unfortunately, apart from the small one of no period of parking. Definitely a visit to KFC is called for. If KFC don't cancel then consider paying the reduced charge, though I hate to say it

Can you get pictures of the signs?
