  • Parking control management- court claim

    Hi,
    I am hoping I can get some help please.
    I have received a ‘letter before claim’ from Gladstones Solicitors reference 2 x PCN issued back in November 2019 ( 7/11/2019 & 13/11/2019) for parking at Whittle square Gloucester business park. I have reviewed the images provided by PCM of back of my car taken few seconds apart suggesting I have parked outside the marked bay. I have 2 issues with this;
    1 - There are no markings anywhere on the road to suggest where one should park and also no sign to say where not to park.
    2 - it’s almost 18 months not sure why am I receiving this now.
    They have given me 30 days to dispute before they take me to court to claim for outstanding charges.
    can someone please help how I should proceed ?

    Looking at the site, Gloucester Business Park, it is a large site and there is insufficient detail to show where the car was parked. I can't find Whittle Square, was that the entry they used

        Hello. I also received a letter before claim from Gladstones Solicitors yesterday about an alleged parking fine on 14/11/2019 at Whittle Square, Gloucester. This is the first correspondence ever received from them and no ticket was issued at the time or I would have remembered it. Also, no photographic evidence has been supplied. They are asking for £160. I tried to call them but was just left on hold for over 20 minutes with a message saying they were experiencing a high volume of calls. What should I do? I would be very grateful for any help you are able to give me.

              Let's see the PCN/NTK. Suitably redacted but leave dates

                I'm completely new to this. My apologies. I didn't intentionally hijack anything. I just saw that the post related to the same location which is why I commented. I didn't mean to upset anybody :-(

                  Two cases on one thread, even if looking similar, can cause confusion and incorrect advice

                    Please see attached. Contravention states it was parked in a restricted area but clearly the image I uploaded yesterday showed no signs of restrictions. Let me know your thoughts please.

                              Apologies if I wasn’t clear. I didn’t receive any PCN, only a letter from Gladstones solicitors which also provided me with a reference to PCN from Nov 2019. I have used the reference provided to review PCN on their website.
